This serves as a diagram of my physical network at my place of residence. The names used here-in are the names said devices assume on my network for communicational purposes and therefore have translated into the names used when referring to said devices. Current plans/upgrades are however not listed on this page, I have created a separate page for this here.

Akuno is the secondary workstation computer and consequentially also the only computer in the house that runs Windows. This machine hosts the printer and flatbed scanner, as well as taking on the role as the Skype video calling machine. Primary uses of this machine are your typical everyday tasks (email, photos, spreadsheets, web browsing, word processing, etc.) and as such this machine is typically a hand-me-down machine. This computer will most likely be decommissioned soon.

Chloe is currently my primary computer, this is the one that I use daily for all of my main computing needs (gaming, programming, media). This computer was purchased/built on 06/2008. This computer has for a long time switched between Windows and FreeBSD as a main operating system. (I swear if it wasn't for games I would never use Windows again...) Only as of recently has it been completely converted over to FreeBSD.

Hub is the SuperMicro 1U server that I obtained via the Rent-to-Own program at PacificRack.com back in 2006-07 and was finally shipped to my residence after ending my contract with them in 2008. This machine runs my web server, database server, and media streaming server. Initially this also ran a DNS server also, but it has since been removed due to it being hosted off my broadband and no longer being in a colocation facility. Aside from virtual machines that run Windows XP, this machine has never run anything but FreeBSD. ;)

Icon Prime

Template:AndroidSpecs Prime is my brand new ASUS Transformer Prime TF201, purchased on 2012/02/15. This device has the sole purpose of replacing the need for a laptop/netbook. Everything I was using my phone for before will now be transferred over to the tablet for added readability. I am still in debate about rooting this device as the bootloader has not been unlocked yet (however was promised by ASUS) so I have no way of officially making a full backup of my device, as such I am skeptical to do anything that can brick it.

UPDATE: As of 2012/02/22 ASUS has officially announced the bootloader unlock tool, it however sync's with ASUS server's and instantly void's your warranty. Another note is as of 2012/02/22 I now have the mobile dock as well, in addition to the tablet itself.

Icon Atrix

Template:AndroidSpecs Atrix is my new smartphone I got as a replacement for my old iPhone 3G. Switched over to Android with the Motorola Atrix 4G and never once looked back, I dare say I love this phone (especially now with an ICS ROM on it). I unlocked and rooted this phone roughly 3 hours after I purchased it, thanks to the folks over at xda-developers.
